Internally generally very clean and bright. Fine grey boards and spine with blue lettering. 136pp. No inscriptions. Plain end papers. No defects to report. 13 full page photographic illustrations. Croke, Pocock, Burt, Wood+ Fell, Hampden, Plummer, various buildings etc. Plus 9 illustrations in the text + 2 genealogies. 13 chapters + 3 appendices (headmasters, dates and Biographical). Ch are preceded by Introduction defining Grammar School. Followed by the Founder and through the schools history with Early Prosperity, Decline, lowest ebb, the New School and Progress.Buying more than one book will save on postage costs.
