Condition Description
We use the following Condition Categories: Virtually as New, Excellent, Very
good, Good and Working Copy.
Virtually as new means no apparent defects, price clipping or marks (unless
specifically mentioned in the detailed book description).
For magazines and leaflets we use “book condition” to describe the
contents and “jacket condition” for the magazine covers. Please
make sure that you look at photographs and photograph links where used as the
written descriptions assume and rely upon the customer looking at all the pictures
provided.
Payment
Post, packing and insurance are charged in addition to the book prices. Please
contact us to agree postage and insurance costs and payment method before paying.
Sterling Cheques payable to “Bianco Team” please, drawn on a UK
bank. When using PayPal please use sales@biancolibrary.com and ensure you pay
to our sterling account. In order to pay for, order, or make an enquiry, please
use our shopping cart, and proceed through the checkout
stages where will will answer all of your questions and quote postage charges.
If you do not have a PayPal account you can still make a single payment using
your CC.
Wire transfer direct from your bank to ours can be the most economic for large
transactions. In relevant cases we will advise when agreeing postage costs.
Most books for sale at Bianco Library.com are available through the Advanced
Book Exchange, who can accept all major credit cards. If you find a book you
like at BiancoLibrary.com and are unable to pay via cheque or through PayPal
then please buy through ABE who will handle the order on our behalf.
Dispatch & Returns
We try to dispatch within 3 working days of our acceptance of your confirmed
order. For new customers we reserve the right to allow time for Cheques to clear
before books are dispatched. Books can only be returned with prior agreement.
Normally we would expect the customer to bear the return postage/insurance cost.
Loss
We obtain proof of posting from the Royal Mail Post Office or the Carrier as
appropriate. For the more valuable books insurance can be arranged and is recommended.
Where an item is uninsured delivery is at the customers risk subject to Bianco
Library obtaining the proof of posting. Where insured Bianco Library’s
liability shall not exceed the total recovered from insurers.
Discounts
Discounts are negotiable for existing customers on orders in excess of £50
involving 3 or more books and buying more than one book economises on postage.
Postage is charged extra with a minimum of £3.50 (cheques) and £3.65
with ABE, CC or PayPal) for small orders under £19 sent uninsured to UK
addresses.
Requests for Information
Please do not ask us for additional information on a book unless you have the
intention to purchase. We are happy to help provide further relevant information
to serious buyers who are prepared to help us by stating who and where they
are, posting location if different, payment method and printing and insurance
preferences. Please also remember that for large heavy books or multiple volume
sets postage costs can be high, particularly for overseas orders where insurance
is required. If you are simply looking for the cheapest shipping option thenyou
will probably be best to buy in your own country.
