Generally fine d\w with light fading to edges. Profusely illustrated in black and white. Every page has illustrations. Some are single full page or double page varying to pages 74/ 75 that have 7 illustrations. The emphasis is on old photographs. Coloured dust wrapper. Lovely decorated end papers showing an engraving extending to both pages. The pictures are reproductions of old photographs so obviously reflect the age of those photographs. There are also a number of illustrations of billboards, posters, drawings, aquatints, engravings, paintings and lithographs. 136 pages all related to the Great eastern. I have yet to see a better all round book on the Great Eastern. If you are interested in the Great Eastern then this is just about the best book to have. Buying more than one book will save on postage costs. We have split our books into 70 + categories.
