This is a 2 volume set in lovely bright contemporary green cloth blind stamped with additional decoration of a fern on the front board. This has many full page coloured plates (vol 137 & vol 2 42 and 709 wood engravings). Lowe was famous for his masterworks on ferns, grasses and beautiful leaved plants - please see the photographs for examples of this. Internally the volumes are largely clean with very occasional light foxing. To some pages. Both volumes have a neat signature on the f.e.p. The cloth boards and spine are bright with only very occasional marks. Buying more than one book will save on postage costs. We have split our books into 70 + categories.
