Internally generally very clean and bright with only occasional light foxing that is confined mainly to the page edges. As with all Illustrated London News, this is beautifully illustrated and as far as we are aware, all plates are complete. Includes fold out plates. There are a few small closed tears to some pages - no loss. Marbled boards are in good but worn condition. Leather spine and corners are worn. Buying more than one book will save on postage costs.
