Unusual in this condition. Boards and spine bright with some marks to bottom outer edges. Book tight. Excellent inside. Complete with folding map in superb condition, clean and breight and no extra folds . Plus a copy of a 2 page letter from the London and Paris Railway Promoters summarising the project and of an illustration from the Illustarted London News of Nov 22 1851. Plus copy of 6 page illustrated article form the Royal Magazine October 1905. Interestingly this copy has the original of a rare insert to page 53 that updates the Cross Channel Passenger Traffic 1928 to 1936. Excellent provenace as this bookcame form the private collection of Paul Edwards and bears his private bookplate.
