"This is the first Ian Allan reprint of the original 1927 edition. Interestingly the white dust wrapper and the title page refer to "the Locomotive Publishing Company" and Ian Allan only appears on the inside flap of the dust wrapper along with the price of 45/- and also on the reverse of the title page. Many black and white photographs, illustrations and fold out diagrams etc. The rare Dust wrapper is generally in good condition, with some chipping top and bottom but as it is on plane paper it can easily be repaired. Rare with dust wrapper. 276pp. There is some small spotting to the boards but otherwise the book is in excellent condition with no bumping and the contents are as new."
