In excellent bright condition. The boards and spine are both bright with good clear gold lettering/images. This is the wonderful decorative burgundy binding with the roundel photo tipped into the centre of the front board and the gold smoke box images of locomotives. Decorative spine and unusually there is no fading. Crisp corners. Head and foot of spine without splits or damage. Binding sound and tight. Rear plain red board has some marks. Top edge gold. Neat inscription on half title page. Private bookplate of James Dudfield Willis on front pastedown.
