Description / Information:
There are 3 volumes. Some slight wear to the top of the spines. Please see photo for more information. You will see that these three volumes have attractive covers with coloured plates set into panels on the front covers. . Unusually for the period they have full page coloured plates "photographed in colour direct from nature". They are profusely illustrated - for example there are 25 in the first volume. Plates are generally clean. There is some foxing to the text pages as usual. The plain free end paper for vol2 is missing (no writing on this page). The bottom margin of some pages to vol two are marked with some damage but this does not come anywhere near the text or the pictures. The three volumes weigh in at around 2.5Kg so contact us about postage before ordering as the standard abe charges do not apply.. These books relate primarily to lowland wild flowers. The books themselves are good overall and are £20 for the three volumes (dated 1912).
