Description / Information:
These two volumes are in excellent condition. There are numerous line engravings in both volumes as well as some early black and white photographs. The inside is almost free of foxing except for the original tissue paper protecting some of the plates. The outsides of the book are in excellent condition., being bright and with a line engraving in gold on the front of both of the volumes. The spine is shiny with bright gold lettering. The bottom of the spine is a little worn in both cases. Both volumes are fully gold gilded.
