Description / Information:
This book is very scarce. IN very good condition overall. This book is in brown cloth with stamped decoration on the rear and front boards generally clean and bright. The spine has gold lettering. The boards are generally in very good condition. There is a little wear to corners and the top and bottom of spine but nothing serious. There are yellow end papers in bright generally clean condition. There is a dedication on the front pastedown including "with the author's respects" which I consider it is reasonable to assume is in the author's hand. The front free end paper is followed by the title page with title, author publisher and date included. A 6 page preface follows. Two further pages list "works consulted". The contents page states - Glossary page 1, Addenda page 56 and proverbs, sayings etc page 58. The book has 64 numbered pages. A single page follows listing works published by Dr Charnock. Internally the book is clean, bright and in generally excellent condition.
