Description / Information:
The famous trilogy Mrs Earle - close friend of Lady Constance Lytton. 3 volumes in good condition overall. 1st volume - Pot-Pourri from a surrey garden is the fifteenth edition. 2nd volume - More Pot-Pourri is 2nd impression 1899. 3rd volume - A third Pot-Pourri is from 1903 (possibly 1st edition.) 1st and 2nd volumes have publisher's catalogue of books at back. All are in very good condition internally. Unusually clean internally - many of these books suffer from significant foxing. Cloth boards and spines are in generally good condition with some fading. This set very rarely occurs with original spines in anything like complete condition as they often crumble. All the bindings are reasonably tight and the matching gold lettering on the spines is reasonably bright. There is a little fraying to the top and bottom of the spine of the 2nd volume. The spine to the second volume is a little faded and those to the 1st and 3rd are darkened.
