Description / Information:
1 volume in 15 parts. 767 chromo-lithographed plates. The plates are printed on card that is loose and contained within single folded text sheets. Published between 1986 - 1907. The majority of the pates are in very good condition. This is a magnificent rare set. There is some doubt as to the total number of plates issued. A figure of 836 has been mentioned. Because of the form of publication, in loose leaf format, it must be extremely difficult to acquire a more comprehensive range of plates. We can send quality colour photocopies to interested purchasers and ideally prospective purchasers should view them. Stacked end on end, the collection is 38 cm and weighs nearly 10 kilos and is impractical to be sold on a return basis.
