Both volumes in good condition overall. 1868 edition of this popular work. Green embossed boards, gilt decorations front and spine. The gold is still in good bright condition. Some wear to the boards and spine. Front board and spine of volume 1 are coming away from the binding. Volume 2 has a slight tear in the cloth on the spine. Unclipped pages. Remarkably clean inside for this age of book. Excellent illustrations. Fine frontispieces with dust sheets. Buying more than one book will save on postage costs.
