Description / Information:
In good to very good condition overall. Original cloth boards in good but marked condition. Front board has a fantastic gold illustration of 'the French Revolution' in v\g condition. Original spine a little worn and faded but gold lettering and decoration still visible. Very large fold out plate of Paris at front in v\g virtually complete condition with little marking. Considering its age, the contents are in mostly v\g clean condition. Some marks on the outer margin of some pages that can be easily removed with a very soft rubber. This volume has articles on the raising of the Conway Tubular Bridge and the burning of the Usk railway bridge among others. Photograph shows illustration of the raising of the tubular bridge over the River Conway. We also have photos of the cover and of another illustration.
