Description / Information:
Beautiful book with bright blue embossed boards and spine all in excellent bright condition. The gold on the spine and the gold decoration on the front board are also bright . Spine and corners of boards have been strengthened and are matching colour. No chips or loss. Pages are very good with 54 superb Fawcett colour plates - a triumph of wood engraving and colour printing. The free end papers have some foxing. Generally an excellent book. This book is similar in size and format to E J Lowe's book "Beautiful Leaved Plants" of the same period but has different plates. Both books have superb Fawcett plates. Buying more than one book will save on postage costs. We have split our books into 70 + categories.
