In very good condition indeed. We have 4 pictures of this book on our website. 2nd edition of 1867. This book was said to be "A popular treatment of the subject, including voluminous notes on methods of hunting and capturing the animals discussed". Inside is mostly very clean with spectacular high quality colour plates in generally lovely undamaged condition indeed. T.e.g. Boards and spine are bright and clean with bright gold lettering. Front board has a gold stamped image of a bird within a double lined box decoration. Sound tight binding with the spine strengthened both top and bottom. The boo looks excellent, crisp and bright on the bookshelf. This book shows no sign of having had a map bound in although the title page refers to a map. Buying more than one book will save on postage costs. We have split our books into 70 + categories.
