Description / Information:
A first edition in very good condition overall. Mostly clean and fine internally. Some small marks to boards but spine clean and bright. The book is dated first edition 1953 and is clean and bright internally The 6 coloured plates are present and in excellent complete condition. The page edges are crisp without folds. The end papers are bright and clean without inscriptions. The book is profusely illustrated in text with lovely line drawings. A few of these have been hand coloured and this adds to the attractiveness of the book. The boards are bright and there is a little wear to the outer corners of the boards. Buying more than one book will save on postage costs. We have split our books into 70 + categories.
