Description / Information:
In very good condition overall. A superb version of the Christmas Story in early 'Talking Book' format. Huge book 13" Tall by 10" Wide with 17 full colour plates telling the traditional Christmas story (3 wise men, stable, shepherds etc) In the back of the book is a 78 rpm record which tells the story to go with the pictures. (Narrated by Frank Phillips, music by Leslie Bridgewater). Internally, the book is in very good clean condition with fine plates with little marking. Some light foxing to the title page. Rough cloth boards largely clean and bright. A few marks on tipped in plate on front cover. Record in own sleeve. Buying more than one book will save on postage costs.
