Description / Information:
First trade edition (c1908) in excellent condition overall. Illustrated by Edmund Dulac. Contents in excellent crisp condition. Occasional light foxing to the top part of some text pages. 144 text pages plus plates and cover sheets. 40 evocative tipped in Dulac plates in stunning condition mounted on green card with titled protective leaves all as called for. Plate Act V scene 1 has a slight corner crease bottom left but otherwise crisp. Corners to all pages generally crisp with no folds. Lovely clean green end papers with no inscriptions or marks. Excellent cloth boards in publisher's green cloth with bright gold lettering and decoration. Crisp corners. Spine slightly sunned and head refurbished (see photograph). Sound firm binding. A LOVELY COPY of this Dulac classic. Buying more than one book will save on postage costs. We have split our books into 70 + categories.
