Description / Information:
Scarce in this condition. Book virtually as new. Clean endpapers, and crisp corners to pages and boards. Unusually I can find no signs of foxing other than the slightest hint on the page fore edge of some pages - you have to look to find it. Only defects appear to be very slight bumping to top and bottom of corners of front board. With black and white photographs and illustrations and coloured frontis. Excellent dust wrapper generally clean and bright. Unusually the spine is bright without fading to the yellow and reds and with only a hint of dulling. Slight creasing and wear to head of spine but no loss. Small amount of edge wear but no apparent loss. Three small, short and insignificant closed tears. Not price clipped. The drawing is by Professor Randolph Schwabe Overall a lovely copy.
