Description / Information:
In very good condition overall. . Good clean original yellow endpapers. Original tissue guards with some light foxing. Pages generally clean and bright. 22 splendid high quality steel engravings. Prize label on front paste down. Light staining to bottom right hand corner of last plate stretching as far as the bottom corner of the plate but this is only a minor defect. Generally the plates are much cleaner and brighter then is normally the case for this period. Plate of Swansea Harbour, Waterloo and the Mill on the Lake of Lungern. Original heavily ornate blocked boards with front in gold, black and red. Spine repaired and refurbished. Sound binding. Buying more than one book will save on postage costs.
