Description / Information:
3 volumes in good condition overall. All top edges gold. Bindings generally sound. Generally very clean inside. The title page of each vol refers to 'with one engraving'. Each volume has an engraved frontispiece with tissue guard, all in generally excellent condition. End papers for Vols 1 and 2 are white (neat owner name in pen 'John M Thorburn' on front free end paper) and for vol three they are a very pale yellow with no name. The end papers are generally clean with only very light spotting. The volumes have matching green cloth boards in generally good condition with some marks and wear. Spines have clear text but are slightly dulled/ yellowed and there is wear to some of the heads and feet of the spines. Rated only good overall because of the boards whereas the plates end papers and contents would warrant excellent. The weight of the parcel will be just over 2 Kg so using Royal Mail Standard Parcels without insurance the net cost is £6.91 plus additional 45p for insurance sent to UK address.
