Description / Information:
The book is Vol 1of a two volume set dated 1919. 504 pages. The lovely 52 photographic plates (many having two pictures) are all present and generally in very good bright condition. Clean endpapers without inscriptions but with some light foxing. A good working copy of this important book. Not a collectors copy Internally the book is mostly very clean with some neat light pencil annotations (theses could easily be removed but I always leave them in as some are often corrections or useful additions - usefully the plate numbers have been pencilled against the text for ease of reference). There is some light foxing. Book has been rebound in green cloth with the original cloth laid down - boards are worn but bearing in mind the contents overall book is good and fairly priced with regard to the condition.
