Description / Information:
Packed weight =01.00kg. Roddy Gradidge was a great character who devoted much of his phenomenal energy to studying Lutyens, working as a practicing architect on Lutyens properties and supporting the Lutyens Trust. This was the first major work to follow on from the Memorial Volumes of the early 1950's. This rare monograph is a very authoritative and important study of Lutyens life and all his work both private and public. It is a must for any architectural library. Well illustrated in black and white with many on his houses and a number on his public buildings. 167 pages. In excellent condition overall. Excellent yellow boards and spine. The dust wrapper is very good with one repaired small closed tear, no loss or clipping and only very slight fading to the red lettering on the spine.
